How much is a car service from JFK to Manhattan?
From $170 in a Business SUV, $250 in First Class, $310 in an Extended SUV and $690 in an Armored SUV. These are starting figures for a typical Manhattan transfer, and the exact fare for your address is shown before you book.
The fare covers meet and greet, flight tracking, tolls, parking, taxes and gratuity. There is no meter, no surge pricing and no charge for a delayed flight. Details on what drives the figure are in the pricing guide.
How long is the drive from JFK to Midtown Manhattan?
Typically 50–80 minutes. The lower figure applies late at night and mid-morning on weekends; the upper applies on weekday afternoons, Friday evenings and event days. Brooklyn is closer at 35–60 minutes.
Use the upper figure when you plan a meeting or a dinner reservation. Your chauffeur monitors live traffic and chooses between the available tunnels and bridges on the day.
Where will my chauffeur meet me at JFK?
Domestic arrivals are met curbside at the arrivals level of your terminal. International arrivals are met inside the terminal with a name board. Terminals served are 1, 4, 5, 7 and 8.
You receive the chauffeur's name, vehicle and mobile number before you land. Waiting is complimentary for 60 minutes on international arrivals and 30 on domestic, counted from landing, and flight tracking moves the pickup if you are early or late.
When should I leave for JFK on a departure?
Work backwards from your airport arrival time. Airlines commonly recommend arriving about three hours before an international departure and two hours before a domestic one. Subtract the drive time and add a traffic allowance to get your pickup time.
For a 50–80 minute drive, an international departure usually needs a pickup four to four and a half hours before the flight. We confirm the pickup time with you at booking and your chauffeur arrives 10 minutes early.
Is JFK or Newark better for Manhattan?
JFK is usually the choice for long-haul international flights. Newark is typically 40–70 minutes from Midtown and can be quicker for western Manhattan, and LaGuardia is the shortest at 25–50 minutes. Pick the airport that suits your flight, then plan the ground leg around it.
