For outbound flights from Bucharest, the key variable is the northern approach. Morning departures face inbound commuters heading the opposite way, but the evening return to Otopeni can be slow. We recommend leaving earlier than a navigation app suggests and confirm the pickup time the evening before. The desk is staffed overnight if your plans change.
