Corporate travel in LondonderryThe A6 runs south-east through Dungiven and Castledawson to join the M2 near Toome, then into Belfast. It is mainly a good road but includes slower stretches, and farm traffic and roadworks matter. The chauffeur checks live conditions and sets the departure to avoid Belfast's morning rush.
The route to Dublin crosses the border and uses the A5 and N-road network towards the M1, taking about three hours. The signs change to kilometres at the border and the road system includes toll sections on the M1, all handled within the fare. We plan a break if you want one.
Letterkenny is under an hour away across the border, and the coastline beyond opens up to Dunfanaghy and the Atlantic. Roads narrow quickly, and fog or rain on the hills can slow travel. We advise on timings and give you an honest view of what a day can include.
Travelling east on the A2 via Limavady, you reach Downhill and the Mussenden Temple, then the Giant's Causeway, about an hour from Derry. A one-way transfer can include stops, and a return trip can be planned as a day out with the timings agreed in advance.
Between November and February the light fails early, and rain or ice can make hill roads tricky. We take that into account when suggesting a departure time, and advise an earlier start if you need to arrive before dark. The fare stays the same however long the weather makes the road.
