Vilnius is inland, so there is no cruise port in the city. Ships on Baltic itineraries call at Klaipėda on the coast, about three and a half hours west, and some passengers choose to visit the capital for a day or to start or end their cruise here. Turnaround passengers fly into Vilnius and drive to Klaipėda or the reverse. A chauffeur collects from the airport, carries luggage and stops at Kaunas for lunch if wanted. The fixed fare covers fuel, tolls and waiting, and the driver tracks flight and ship timings.
