The approach roads lead through the Ülemiste and harbour area, and on days with two or three ships plus ferries, the junctions near the quays slow noticeably.
The Old Town is a short walk from the quay, but most of the sights beyond the walls need a car for a short day: Kadriorg Palace, the Song Festival Grounds, Pirita and the Seaplane Harbour. A chauffeur plans a loop that begins on foot for the Old Town and then collects you at the gate.
