The airport is only a few minutes from the centre, which makes the city unusually easy to reach, yet moving around it still takes local judgement because the Old Town is closed to ordinary traffic. Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport lies at Ülemiste, roughly four kilometres from the centre, and the ride into town usually takes about ten minutes.
