Everything included, in Monaco

Monaco is two square kilometres of cliff, harbour and apartment towers wedged between France and the Mediterranean, and almost everything in it happens within a short drive. That compactness is the challenge: one-way streets, tunnels, a Grand Prix circuit that doubles as ordinary roads and a hotel forecourt that does not forgive a driver who guesses. SUV.LIMO runs an SUV-only fleet here with vetted chauffeurs, flight tracking, a 24/7 desk and a single all-inclusive fare agreed before the car moves.

Monte-Carlo, La Condamine and Fontvieille

The principality is divided into quarters that each have a different pace. Monte-Carlo holds the Casino Square, the Hôtel de Paris and the Grimaldi Forum; La Condamine wraps around Port Hercule with its restaurants and the Prince's Palace rock above it; Fontvieille is the reclaimed district with the heliport and the stadium. Your chauffeur matches the quarter to the doorway, so a gala at the Salle des Étoiles or a lunch on the quay does not begin with a hunt for the right entrance.

Grand Prix week and the closures

The Monaco Grand Prix in late spring turns the harbour streets into a circuit, and many roads close or become one-way for days before and after. The Yacht Show in September and the Rolex Masters tennis tournament in April bring their own crowds. In those weeks our cars are staged earlier, routes are rebuilt around the barriers and drop-offs are agreed with your hotel or yacht agent. Booking early is worth a great deal.

Tunnels, parking and getting around a vertical city

Monaco is built on a steep hillside, so distances that look short on a map involve tunnels, lifts and public escalators. Hotels and residential towers have private entrances and garages, and public parking is limited. A chauffeur who knows the tunnel network and which hotel ramps allow a quick set-down saves the party from a long walk uphill in evening shoes.

Yachts, brokers and the private-wealth economy

Much of the principality's business is yachting, banking and wealth management. Brokers, captains and owners move between Port Hercule, Port Hercule's quays and offices in the Condamine, often at short notice. We handle discreet pickups at the dock, courier-style runs to Nice and last-minute reshuffles, and nothing about your movements is discussed outside the car.

The Riviera outside the borders

Beyond Monaco the Moyenne and Basse Corniche roads climb towards Èze and Cap d'Ail, and the A8 runs west to Nice, Cannes and Saint-Tropez or east into Italy. Menton and Sanremo lie a short drive the other way. Summer weekend traffic on the coast road can multiply journey times, so we recommend early starts and tell you what to expect before you set off.

Terms that apply to every Monaco journey

The fare is fixed, covers fuel, tolls and parking within the plan, and does not change if a flight is late or a dinner overruns. Chauffeurs are vetted, cars are late-model SUVs, child seats are free on request and the desk is staffed round the clock. Armored SUVs with security-trained chauffeurs are available if you ask early enough for us to confirm the car.

The Monaco fleet

One silhouette. Four ways to travel.

We run full-size SUVs and nothing else in Monaco — the higher seat, the longer wheelbase, the cargo hold that swallows a family's luggage or a crew's equipment. What changes between classes is the finish, the space and the level of protection.

FAQ

SUV limo service in Monaco — questions

Which airport do I fly into for Monaco?

Nice Côte d'Azur is the usual choice, around thirty to forty minutes by road. Some guests take the helicopter from Nice to Monaco's heliport, a few minutes by air. We track your flight and meet you either way.

Can you meet a helicopter at the Monaco heliport?

Yes. The heliport is in Fontvieille, and the chauffeur can wait at the arrivals area to take you and your bags to a hotel or villa. Tell us your helicopter operator so we can follow the schedule.

How bad is traffic during the Grand Prix?

Many central roads close or change direction for days around the race. We plan routes and drop-off points in advance and advise early collection. Book early for that week.

How long is the drive from Monaco to Cannes or Saint-Tropez?

Cannes takes about an hour, Saint-Tropez roughly two hours or more in summer. We quote fixed fares and include a margin for coastal traffic.

Can your cars go to Italy?

Yes. Menton and Ventimiglia are minutes away, and Sanremo, Genoa and Milan are possible as longer fixed-fare runs.

Can I book an armored SUV in Monaco?

Yes. B4 or B6 armored vehicles with security-trained chauffeurs can be supplied if you ask early enough for us to confirm the car and driver.
