The drive to Marunouchi or Roppongi is around 40 minutes, quicker late at night and slower in the evening peak.
Narita takes about 1 hour 30 minutes to the centre, with the airport well out in Chiba. The expressway routes carry you in, and the journey is a comfortable time to rest after a long flight. For departures, we recommend leaving earlier than you might expect, since check-in at Narita can be long.
Immigration at the airports is smooth but variable, and baggage can take time on a busy evening. We track your flight and keep to the 60 minutes of complimentary international waiting, so your chauffeur is there however long the formalities take, and the fare does not move.
