Zurich's Dock E, the remote pier used by many long-haul and some European flights, is reached by a short airside train, so passengers there take a little longer to reach arrivals. For that reason we follow the gate and not only the landing time. The free wait window of 60 minutes on international flights comfortably covers the extra distance, passport control and a slow carousel. Passengers on short-haul flights usually arrive at Dock A or B, which are closer to arrivals and faster to clear.
Most transfers go to hotels around Bahnhofstrasse and the Seefeld, the Dolder hills or the Oerlikon business area, all roughly twenty minutes away in normal traffic. Longer journeys to Zug, Lucerne, Basel or the Goldkueste can be priced together with the airport leg. For winter travel into the Alps, the fare allows for chains, winter tyres and realistic road times from the first quote. We can also arrange a child seat at the airport kerb if you tell us at the time of booking.
Swiss security is efficient but Zurich peaks sharply in the morning, when several long-haul departures overlap. We collect you with a buffer based on the day of the week and the airline, and bring you to the departures level with your luggage.
