Chauffeured SUV hire in Nice

Everything included, in Nice

The Riviera runs along a single shelf of land between the Alps and the sea, and every journey on it is a choice between the A8 motorway and the coast road. SUV.LIMO provides full-size SUVs with vetted chauffeurs who know when the Promenade des Anglais clogs, when Cannes shuts down and where a Villefranche tender queue forms. Fares are fixed and all-inclusive, flights are tracked, and our desk covers all hours, including the small hours after a late dinner in Monaco.

Nice Cote d'Azur airport

Nice Cote d'Azur (NCE) sits on the coast just west of the city, and the Promenade des Anglais runs straight from its doorstep into Nice itself. A transfer to the centre takes around 20 minutes outside peak hours, and Cannes and Monaco are each roughly 30 minutes away. The airport is busiest from June to September, so your chauffeur meets you in the hall with a name board and keeps the vehicle ready.

The Promenade and the Old Town

Hotels along the Promenade des Anglais, around Place Massena and in the Vieux Nice are easy to find but fiddly to reach, with pedestrian streets and tram works that restrict access. We agree the nearest legal drop in advance and walk your bags the last stretch. Evenings in July and August are slow along the seafront, so we plan with live data.

Sophia Antipolis and the business quarter

The Sophia Antipolis technology park, in the hills behind Antibes, hosts the region's biggest employers and research teams, and the Nice business quarter sits near the airport. Between them, the A8 and the departmental roads decide your timing. A single SUV can cover both with hourly hire, and we time airport legs to avoid the morning build-up.

Cannes and festival weeks

Cannes is 30 minutes up the motorway, and the Palais des Festivals hosts the film festival and several large trade events through the year. During those weeks the Croisette is closed or restricted for much of the day. We agree drop points on the side streets and stage SUVs for delegations, with extra time allowed on both the A8 and the route in.

Monaco, Eze and the corniches

Monaco is a 30-minute run along the A8, and the three corniches above it offer alternatives. The Basse Corniche crawls in summer, so we use the A8 for timed airport runs and save the corniche for scenic requests, such as the road through Eze with its views over Cap Ferrat. Grand Prix week in Monaco is a separate planning exercise, and we quote it realistically.

Villefranche, Saint-Tropez and Genoa

Cruise ships anchor off Villefranche-sur-Mer and tender passengers to the quay, while the Port of Nice handles smaller vessels. Saint-Tropez is about 1 hour 30 minutes west, with summer jams on the last stretch from the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Genoa is 2 hours 30 minutes east across the Italian border, a manageable fixed-fare transfer. Late-summer afternoons and Friday evenings are the worst on the A8, so we shift transfers earlier or later wherever the plan allows.

The Nice fleet

One silhouette. Four ways to travel.

We run full-size SUVs and nothing else in Nice — the higher seat, the longer wheelbase, the cargo hold that swallows a family's luggage or a crew's equipment. What changes between classes is the finish, the space and the level of protection.

FAQ

SUV limo service in Nice — questions

How long is the transfer from Nice airport to Monaco?

Around 30 minutes on the A8 in normal conditions. The corniche is slower and used only for scenic requests, and we tell you which route suits your plans.

Can your SUV reach my hotel on the Promenade?

Usually yes, with a drop at the door or the nearest legal point. Hotels in Vieux Nice may require a short walk because of pedestrian streets, and we confirm the spot beforehand.

What about Cannes during the film festival?

We plan with extra time, agree side-street pickups and tell you in advance where to meet the chauffeur. Restricted streets and cordons are part of every festival booking.

Where do cruise ships dock near Nice?

Larger ships tender passengers to Villefranche-sur-Mer, and smaller vessels use the Port of Nice. Your cruise line confirms the arrangement and we adapt the pickup to match.

Can you drive to Saint-Tropez from Nice?

Yes, about 1 hour 30 minutes at a fixed fare, with allowance for summer traffic on the final stretch. We suggest leaving early in the morning in high season.
