Jerez is about an hour away, Córdoba around an hour and a half, Málaga two and a quarter hours and Madrid five and a half. Corporate travel in SevilleThe A-4 northeast leads to Córdoba in about an hour and a half. The high-speed train is fast, but it drops you at a station away from the Judería and the Mezquita-Catedral. South of Seville the AP-4 reaches Jerez in about an hour and Cádiz in about an hour and a quarter. Jerez rewards a tour of the sherry bodegas and a visit to the equestrian school. The toll is included in the fixed price, and the chauffeur can continue to El Puerto de Santa María or Sanlúcar for a seafood lunch. On the way back the road is quiet in the evening, and a late departure from the coast often beats the afternoon traffic.
Ronda lies a little over two hours southeast by the A-374 and the mountain roads of the Serranía. The final stretch is winding, and the chauffeur sets a pace that suits the passengers. Many guests add Zahara de la Sierra or Setenil de las Bodegas, whose houses are tucked under rock overhangs, as part of a long day. Mountain weather can change quickly, and in winter fog sometimes settles in the passes, which we check before departure.
Málaga is about two and a quarter hours by the A-92 and A-45, Granada around two and three quarters and Madrid five and a half. On long runs we agree comfort stops in advance and tell you where the pauses fit. One-way and return fares are both available, and the price you see at booking is the price you pay.
Summer roads in Andalusia are quiet in the afternoon when the heat sends people indoors, and busy on Friday evenings and holiday weekends. At Easter and in August, exits from Seville back up early. We suggest departure times that avoid the worst of it and tell you honestly when a mid-afternoon start would save an hour on the road.
